I’ve never been one to feel nostalgic at the New Year mark. I’ve always forged ahead and had that “never look back” mentality. Yet, as I started thinking about compiling a post with our favorite posts from 2014, the nostalgia kicked in. Having celebrated my 31st birthday Tuesday, I was asked what the “highlights” of my year were. I struggled. Not because I couldn’t remember all the amazing times, but because some of the more challenging times had become more salient in my mind. Having battled some uncomfortable health problems the last six months of the year, I found myself entrenched in thoughts of those struggles. As I looked through our archives of posts I was literally jolted. This year was an amazingly blessed year, filled with much travel (an all time favorite “hobby”… any thoughts on how to make this my full time job?!), joyous occasions of celebration (clapping sounds for Allison with her Master’s completion), healthy eats, and fun fashion. I quickly put away my “world’s smallest violin,” and gladly cheers-ed to a wonderful year and an even better 2015. Thank you for joining us on this journey! I guess I’ll leave it with…
