Weekend Guide to Carmel-by-the-Sea

GUIDE TO CARMEL

Getting away for weekend getaways is one of my (and Allison’s) most important indulgences in life. The opportunity to escape the realities of life (i.e. grocery shopping, cleaning, planning meals for the week… you get the drift) is invaluable. It allows me to recharge, refresh, renew my life perspective, and reconnect with whoever I am with (more often than not this is with TJ!).  This past weekend was spent in Carmel relaxing and enjoying the beautiful, sleepy, coastal town. And although I say sleepy, there is actually so much to do. It’s safe, quaint, and beautiful all at the same time… people are friendly, and there are always doggie treats and water bowls for the furry friends. I loved the town so much so, that I have put together a “Weekend Guide to Carmel,” in case you ever chose to take a trip up the California Coast. Of course, these are simply a few of our favorite spots and activities, and there are many more options and places to explore in the Carmel area! Hope you enjoy!

I adore carnel! I went to boarding school
In Monterey. The Tally Ho is another great spot, the Cypress Inn for cocktails, Bicyclette is delicious and of course shopping at Paloosh and girl Boy girl. Your weekend trips always look fabulous 🙂

    • Shannon&Allison says:

Great suggestions Bella! I will have to check those out the next time we are up there! I loved Paloosh… too many goodies! I could have done a lot of damage if we stayed any longer!

  5. Melissa Arrieta says:

Looks SO relaxing! I need to put this on my list of placed to visit. Do you know if doggies are allowed at that hotel?

    • Shannon&Allison says:

It’s such a great little town! I’m not sure if L’Auberge allows doggies, but I would imagine so, as the community is overall very “dog friendly.” They are really helpful over the phone, so I am sure they could answer it if you asked!

  6. Regina says:

We leave thursday, thanks for the suggestions, this was just perfect!
