It’s hard to believe that 2015 is rapidly coming to a close. This is always a reflective time of year for me. As my birthday is today, and New Years is tomorrow, it sort of forces me to look back and see where the year has taken me. Being well into my 30’s with today’s birthday, I can’t help but feel a sense of fulfillment with where my life has taken me. If you would have asked me 10 years ago if I thought I would be where I am now, I could have only hoped (having just graduated from college and starting my graduate school journey). In this past year I celebrated 5 years of marriage to a wonderful man (post here) and prepared to welcome a new little member into our family. We traveled the world, enjoyed a different kind of Friday night (they used to involve a bottle of wine and intriguing conversation… so, I guess just the wine was missing), and welcomed so many fun opportunities with this blog. As I prepare to sign off (this time I’m pretty sure it’s until 2016) until the New Year I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your support over the past year. Your comments and words of encouragement have meant so much. Whether you read the blog daily, weekly, occasionally, or follow along via instagram and snapchat and share your thoughts there, it’s so appreciated and I’ve enjoyed it all! As I reviewed this post, tears came to my eyes (probably the surge of pregnancy hormones) as I realized what a truly blessed year I had, and how fortunate I feel to have shared it with you! I am wishing you the happiest of New Years and hoping it’s spent in reflection with those you love most (and a glass of champagne for me please!)!!
