Carmel Recap Day 1- Hiking and Wandering

L'Auberge Carmel, Itsy bitsy indulgences

Whenever TJ and I go on vacation, we typically like to explore the surrounding areas. We’ve found that there is no better way to do so than by killing two birds with one stone: a little workout and sightseeing combined. Having been to Carmel several times before (here, here), we decided to revisit our favorite hiking spot, Point Lobos, and then head down the 1 into Big Sur to hike McWay Falls. It wasn’t anything too challenging, but it got us out, moving, exploring, and spending quality time together. Components that always make for a good day… especially when it starts with a little breakfast in bed.

Big Sur Ca, itsy bitsy indulgences I love that when you are traveling down the 1 you can pull off at various lookout points, snap a few photos, and take in the absolute beauty that the coast has to offer.

L'auberge carmel, itsy bitsy indulgences Once we got back into Carmel, we got ready and headed out for a little exploring. I love this sweater dress because it is absolutely perfect for a little wandering around. We picked up some Chai Tea Lattes and meandered the streets. For dinner we headed to Dametra Cafe for some delicious Greek cuisine. We ended the evening with a few little cookies in bed.
