{Christmas Eve hot coco and a little sister time}

I know I said I would be taking a few days off, but I honestly thought my little one would be here by now… especially with all the predictions from my doctor and acupuncturist… apparently “any day now” can mean closer to her due date. I didn’t realize until this evening how busy this last week was. I had contractions on a nightly basis… but nothing that met the criteria to “head to the hospital.” So instead we had several “wait-through-the-eveing-and-see-how-it-goes” nights. Christmas Eve and Christmas day came, and they were wonderfully filled with family time… good conversation, delicious food, and lots of relaxing. Just how the holidays should be spent, surrounded by those you love. Now here we are, Sunday evening, bun still in the oven, with soon-to-be mom and dad anxiously anticipating her arrival! I’m sure you know what we will be doing this next week!

So… yeah, I indulged… and loved every minute of it. Yet, it’s time to pull back the reigns slightly. I linked my favorite work-outs from this past year, in case you’re looking to get a jump start on getting back on track a little early. Having a birthday 5 days after Christmas means my arm has to be twisted to shop some more. Not having the energy to tackle the mall this year, I turned to the internet and found some amazing sales! I love these nude booties, this merlot sweater (that I actually have in ivory!), this cozy hooded coat (which comes in three colors), and my go-to sweater dress is currently on major sale!
