We headed up the California Coast this past weekend to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday with the family. It was an amazing weekend filled with lots of uninterrupted family time, belly laughs, wonderful conversation, good food + drinks, and lots of special memories. I can only hope my 70th birthday celebration looks somewhat similar, surrounded by those you love, and who love you….

Sharing some snaps from the weekend below… along with some of our favorite spots worth visiting if you are considering a trip up the CA coast.

(Stopping at our favorite Malibu Farm on the way up the coast… such a beautiful location right on the pier… dress, anklet, rainbow anklet)

(Then met up with the family for happy hour at Mattie’s Tavern in Los Olivos… such a cute spot with a great outdoor space for kiddos to run around… double huggie earrings)

(Breakfast the next morning at Brekkies in Solvang was delicious… so many great menu options… be sure to get there early as it gets crowded starting around 9am…)

(Then a quick stop at the Emu + Ostrich farm… girls loved it here…)

(Can’t recommend stopping by Leticia vineyards for some bubbly tasting a a picnic… beautiful grounds and great sparkling wines to try! Shorts, Top)

(Pismo beach for the weekend… we stayed at Dolphin Bay Resort which sits right on the bluffs. Can’t recommend it more!)

(A morning run for the famous Old West Cinnamon Rolls… get her early, the line is long…)

(Then a morning by the beach and pool… such beautiful weather… crochet coverup, my sister’s coverup)

(Sunday morning walk and then a dozen Surfside Donuts for the family… they have gluten/dairy free options as well!… leggings, tee)

(A morning wine tasting at Tolosa… great spot! Shorts, Top)

(Loved the cool mornings and evenings… sweater (under $50 option), pants)

(A stop at an all time favorite Boathouse at Hendry’s Beach as we make our way back down the coast… shorts, tank, sweater)

(One last night in Santa Barbara… and take-out from one of our favorites, Los Arroyos…)

(Comfort for the drive home… leggings, sweatshirt)
