I typically reserve extreme adverbs, such as “majorly,” for special times that truly call for them (unlike some people in my family, ahem, my husband). Today’s post is a day that calls for an extreme adverb. I’ve been eyeing numerous “majorly” distressed denim shorts for quite some time now, yet I really did not want to part with the hefty price tag that typically came attached to them. So, I did it myself and I don’t think I’ve taken them off since (well maybe to sleep and go to work…). Clearly, I’m in love. I also must add that my hair is NOT so in love with this humidity which is why hats have been oh-so-necessary for the past several weeks. It’s amazing what they can hide… dark circles under the eyes, mascara-less lashes, little frizzies on the crown of the head… you name it, a hat can hide it 🙂 Be sure to stay tuned next week for a step-by-step on how to do your own DIY distressed denim!!
