February is here, and so is my love for all things pink, red, and hearts. Call it cliche, but I love it all. And when I mean I love it all, I mean that I even love wearing more pink and red at this time. I vividly remember when I was in middle school and I saw this pair of keds sneakers in YM (anyone remember that magazine??…). They were white with pink and red hearts. I just HAD to have them (I know, I say that about a lot of things). So, my fabulous mom went on the hunt for them (the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, right?) and surprised me with them when I came home from school that afternoon. While I likely only wore them a handful of times, deep down I secretly wish I still had them (tear). And so, since I sadly no longer possess them, I have opted to pull off the pink and red in slightly more sophisticated avenues, hence this dusty rose pleated skirt (last seen here).
