At the beginning of the Christmas season I sat down and made a list of things that needed to be completed. My goal was to cross everything off of that list by this coming Friday (12/20). Wanting to take a break during the last week + a half of the year, and savor in this special time with my family, I’ve been plugging along…. and when I sat down to work on this post I couldn’t believe that we are literally one week, 7 days, away from Christmas Eve. I’m not sure if it was having one less week between Thanksgiving + Christmas, or if it is just life with two very little ones, but either week these past couple of weeks have flown by….
Either way, my list is almost finished, and I’m feeling excited for the upcoming weekend (I mean, it’s only 4 days away, but who’s counting??). All that to say, it’s time to start thinking about what to wear to the Christmas festivities (or Hanukah) that will be coming up… Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and we have a casual brunch this Sunday with family. If you’re looking for a little outfit inspo, I’ve put together three different looks… similar to my Thanksgiving post… with a dressy outfit (also check out this “wow your guests” shop if you want something amazing for NYE), casual outfit (I always love a good Free People sweater, like this one, for a casual outfit). and my go-to comfy outfit (I always look at this “cozy at home” shop for my comfy pieces…).
As I mentioned in last Thursday’s post, we’re dressier on Christmas Eve than we are on Christmas Day, so my Christmas Day outfit will either be casual or comfy…. but I absolutely love this coat + skirt combo for a dressier occasion… and be sure to see this post for another, fancier option, as well.
So while I have a few more things left on my list for the year, at least my possible outfit choices have been narrowed down!
