The day after returning home from vacation always feels like I’m playing from behind the eight ball. The refrigerator is typically barren (thank goodness for grocery delivery services), there is laundry to be done (thankfully I save a few clean pairs of underwear so that’s not an issue), and then there are just the things you’re behind in when you take a few days off from reality. Needless to say, yesterday was quintessentially a “vacation hangover” day. Yet, on a positive note, today is Thursday and there is only one more day left in the week. If only all weeks could start on a Wednesday and end on a Friday….

So about this duster cardigan. I last shared it styled two ways here (and here) but it’s really that good. As I start to compile my “capsule” wardrobe post, + think about staples for the fall + winter season, this one makes the top of the list. It easily mixes + matches with so many different basics in a closet (pair it with black jeans, over a bodycon dress, this cute thermal bodysuit, or this ivory crop to name a few) and the material makes it nice enough for a business casual office setting.
