Whenever Sunday evening rolls around, my mind goes into overdrive making my to-do list for the week… which, depending on how the week looks, only leaves me feeling anxious. So when I was scrolling instagram yesterday, I came across a “photo” that was speaking straight to me. It was from The Chalkboard Magazine, a guide to living well, and it read:
TO DO LIST:
FOCUS
WORK HARD
BE CREATIVE
OPEN YOUR MIND
SPREAD POSITIVITY
STAY AWAY FROM DRAMA
ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS
PUT IN 100% EFFORT
TAKE CHANCES
SMILE MORE
BREATHE
Such a simple list… that takes away the anxiety of tasks… and focuses on the wellness component of each day. So while I do have a to-do list for the week ahead (I couldn’t not make one….) approaching it with these “healthier” tasks makes it seem much more manageable. Hope you all have a great week ahead!
(Added some cute little succulents to our bedside tables….)
(Oversized + comfy for a fireside happy hour…. tunic, hat, jeans)
(Casual + comfortable for a Saturday morning family stroll… sweatshirt, leggings)
(Added some layers + textures to the bedroom…. jute rug)
(Sunday mornings with my little crew…. top (BB Dakota has a lot of cute leopard items), jeans, mules, Camille’s jumpsuit, bow)
(Added some Halloween decor to the home… Harper was in charge of the tiny bats…)
________
We made this vegetarian chili last night (and had the AC on) and it was delish!
A few cute fall date night tops I have my eye on include this hunter green puff sleeve top, pretty smocked waist top, floral smocked top, and this twist front top… all three would be so beautiful!
Z Supply, one of my favorites for comfy basics, has some cute new arrivals like this mock neck top (in champagne mist) + this wrap top.
All the fall basics here are so beautiful… particularly have my eye on this bordeaux puff sleeve top, beige check plaid blazer, and this white ribbed sweater.
Loving this oversized poncho jacket for the cooler months… looks so easy to throw on and go.
This midi dress is a beautiful option for a special fall occasion… love the beautiful colors… especially when paired with these chestnut colored boots.
I took advantage of the Lulu + Georgia Anniversary sale and bought this round mirror, jute rug, and this bench for our master bedroom.
Loving these cropped faux leather pants… not sure how they would look on my short legs, but still think they’re beautiful for fall. Would be super cozy with this pullover.
I think this faux leather puffer jacket is so cute (a much less expensive option to this one) + this quilted jacket is super cute too….
