So TJ has been out of town the past two evenings + I’ve been flying solo, on 24/7. With Harper transitioning out of naps, and needing to exert as much energy as possible, I’m looking forward to having him home this evening. Whenever he heads out of town, I go into it full bore, with no intentions of slowing things down, or taking things off my plate for a few days. Yet this time around (or, more like this morning) I realized I needed to make some modifications. Certain things could wait, I could make minor modifications here and there…. and reminded myself that not everything has to get done all the time. With that new mindset of doing less, I was able to spend some quality time with just Harper… something that I’ve missed since having Camille. I guess I say all of this in case someone out there needs to hear that it’s ok to not do it all… and sometimes when we don’t do it all, we actually gain something in the process…..
All that to say, part of my “not doing it all” meant cutting this post in half. It had a completely different set of photos to go along with it, but I realized those could easily wait until next week. So today the focus of this post is this super soft sweatshirt, you’ve seen me wear too many times already this fall season. It’s one of those items I ordered online + was uncertain as to how it would work out. The minute I threw it on, I knew it would be one of those pieces I wear over + over again…. pair it with leggings, joggers, denim, shorts (if you’re in California….), and it’s so soft that it’s perfect to lounge in at the end of a long day.
If you’re looking to build a capsule wardrobe this fall/winter, this pullover is a great addition (as is this pullover), that I bought to go with the pants)!
