It’s hard to believe that the unofficial end of summer has come and gone… I feel like it was just yesterday that we were making summer plans and heading into the warmer weather with excitement and anticipation. This summer was certainly one for the books…. selling our little condo, buying our house (which is officially ours today!!), trips with friends and family, lazy weekends spent by the pool…. I think we checked everything off our summer bucket list…..

Now, as we head into the last part of the year, I do so with great anticipation. I love that with each new season, brings some kind of new beginning, and for us it’s starting a new life, in a new home… creating new memories within new walls…. celebrating our first Halloween, Thanksgiving, + Christmas there… and hopefully adding to our little family. So while I’m not really ready to let summer go, I do so knowing that there are great things ahead of us. I hope you have a wonderful week friends! xx

Now that it’s unofficially fall, I plan on making my favorite fall soup on the regular….

TJ + I are heading to New York this Thursday for the weekend and I’ve started packing to try and avoid the last minute rush. I’ll be bringing along this marigold dress for the one evening event we’ll be attending…. to travel I’ll be wearing these super soft joggers + cozy pullover (all about comfort for traveling…)… then for dinner out, I’m bringing my favorite bodysuit. For Friday sightseeing, I’ll be bringing along these black wide legged pants, bodysuit, leopard mules (on sale!), and this belt bag (aka…. fanny pack….). For Friday evening, this velvet duster cardigan (that can also be a dress), lace cami, + jeans. Saturday exploring I’m bringing along this ribbed wrap sweater…. or my favorite band tee (back in stock)….. and to travel home I’ll likely bring my favorite jumpsuit + denim jacket.

Annnd, because I always throw a few extra pieces in for good measure, I’m bringing this wide legged jumpsuit (seriously so comfortable) + this grey suede moto jacket…..
