(The prettiest little blooms on our new route to Saturday morning breakfast….)

On our Saturday morning walk (new route, same end point….) TJ and I couldn’t help but reflect on the past week… the chaos of moving out, settling into a new routine, officially handing over the keys to our condo (we both acknowledged that it was much more difficult, emotionally, than we had anticipated….), and lining up contractors for our new home…. and realized that we hadn’t really sat down, just the two of us, and debriefed. As we caught up, we kept coming back to the fact that where we are now is a place that we spent months talking about…how so often it felt as if it would never come to fruition….. and how so many pieces had to align perfectly in order to make it all happen….

And while I know there will be bumps (probably many) along the way over the next couple of months, reflecting was a reminder to me to take life day by day… to see everything as part of a bigger plan… and to not waste time worrying about future outcomes, when it’s likely that life will ultimately always fall into place… even if it’s not in the way I had initially planned. Here’s to taking this week day by day friends! Have a good one! xx

Thought I’d share with you some super cute new arrivals from a few favorite retailers:

Abercrombie has some great basics, and a few dressier pieces…. this knot button front tank is cute for summer and layered under a cardi in the fall… I also love this tiny hearts sweatshirt and knot front top. Two casual, everyday dresses, include this knit bodycon dress + cozy swing dress. This wrap front tank + tie front chiffon blouse are beautiful too. Oh and I’m kinda obsessed with this smocked button front top.

From LOFT, I think this chambray flutter henley top is such a great work + play top, this flare sleeve tee is a perfect casual top, open stripe cardigan looks super comfy for a casual outfit, and this pretty little lace peplum top (great for work too).

Lou & Grey is the cozy retailer and my favorite joggers (so so soft) are back in grey, this white midi swing dress is a great option to beat the heat, and this white hoodie looks so soft and comfortable.

I just snagged these wide legged cropped jeans and I’m kinda obsessed with them… this asymmetrical top would be great for a casual look or even work… and I’m loving this cute little cami. This super soft pullover looks comfy too.

Annnd, while it’s in the 90’s outside and I can’t even fathom anything heavy on my body right now I am kinda loving this leopard bomber jacket and these cute little fuzzy blush mules for fall.
