We went into the weekend knowing that the week ahead was going to be a big one for our family… we will officially be “moved out” of our little condo by the end of next weekend, so this week will be spent packing boxes of our belongings. As we sat at dinner last night, we became a little nostalgic, trying our best to explain to Harper what would be happening over the next week… how we will be saying “goodbye” to our house + calling Nana + Grand-daddy’s house our home for a little while…. I think I even had tears in my eyes as I started to explain this…

Then TJ’s phone rang (we usually have a strict “no phones during dinner” policy…) and he checked it… it was our realtor delivering the news that the house we didn’t initially get was now ours!! The previous deal had fallen through, and since we were the backup offer, it was ours if we wanted it!! We were literally shocked…. and then ecstatic. So, now as we head into the week ahead, we’ll be packing up this home and going through the process of inspections with the new home…. we have a 14 day escrow (part of our offer) so things are about to start moving quickly….

For all of this I am profoundly grateful… and it’s a true testament that God’s timing and plan is always perfect… even if we can’t see it in the moment. Have a wonderful week friends! xx

Workout Statemtent

A few great everyday basics, on sale, that I am loving include this blush pullover (it’s so soft), slouchy pocket henley, cozy pullover, thermal henley top, and these comfy lounge pants. And I just stumbled across this french terry swing jacket… and I’m obsessed. Would be super cute with shorts + jeans. My mom bought this cute little cardigan from the sale… and I can’t wait to borrow it (comes in 4 colors, she got the white!).

How cute is this pearl embellished denim jacket?? Kinda obsessed with it…. would be super cute over this adorable everyday casual dress.

For a fun date night, I’m loving this gorgeous lace top, beautiful white eyelet midi skirt (the details are amazing),and this fun shorts dress (I actually own it and love love the fit!).

I also think this wrap sweater is so beautiful…. great with cutoffs now… jeans later…

Urban Outfitters has some great basic options too…. loving this wrap top (cute with high waisted shorts), chambray paperbag shorts, little denim dress (again, the fit on this is super cute),  waffle knit tie front cami, and this basic henley top (size up!).
