{Açai bowls to kick off the weekend}

Shannon: With great anticipation, I welcomed the weekend. Friday was my anniversary with TJ and we welcomed it with wine and take-out on the couch :). Don’t worry, don’t worry, we headed to San Diego Saturday morning for a more formal “celebration.” Since we met in college at The University of San Diego (10 years ago) we have made it a tradition to head down to the area for our anniversaries. We stay at L’Auberge, sip cocktails and champagne, lounge by the pool, and enjoy each other’s company. And this year’s celebration didn’t disappoint. With temperatures in the mid 90’s, fish tacos, the pool, and a bathing suit made their way quickly to the top of the agenda. It was a great weekend, celebrating our relationship and appreciating one another!

Allison: With almost everyone around me either busy or out of town, the weekend activities were pretty slim over here in Costa Mesa! After a girl’s night out Friday night, the rest of the weekend was mellow…to say the least! Wine and a movie in bed Saturday night, and patio furniture and grill assembly (and cooking!) on Sunday night! My roommate and I shared the same sentiments tonight that rarely does a weekend come when there are absolutely no plans, no obligations, etc. To harken back to Costa Rica, it was No Agenda 🙂

{After an indulgent Saturday, we paid a visit to The Naked Cafe… Their “Look Good Naked” portion has the healthiest and most delicious options to, well…. what the title says :)).
