I was scheduling out holiday plans yesterday and as I was looking into December, I realized we had a mere 51 days left in 2025. I let that one sink in and truly couldn’t believe it. It feels as if we were just putting away our Christmas tree last January, preparing for a new year ahead of us. Between the business of life, fun travels, and everything in between the year seems to have passed by much quicker than I thought. Given that, it felt nice to escape for 24 hours up to Santa Barbara to check on the bungalow, have some quality family time away from external demands, and soak in slow moments watching the sunset.

And as we headed home Sunday morning, I was still determined to put up our Christmas tree… and around 4pm last night, it’s officially up and lit, and wow did it spark some warm joy… for everyone in the house.

As we head into a new week ahead (sort of an odd start with everyone in our home having tomorrow off…) I hope everyone has a wonderful start!

Finishing up gift guides this week, but I found some of the cutest items for little kiddos… like these star cowboy boots, dreamland stroller (I gave this to my niece a couple years ago and she loves it), vanity, and this bracelet bead kit (another favorite in our home).
