Over last weekend, my parents offered to babysit the girls and to have them over for a sleepover. So taking full advantage of the offer, TJ and I started thinking about what we could do with the 24 hours we were given.

Being a planner, I suggested a staycation at the beach… being the spontaneous one, he suggested “Vegas + Bruno Mars.” Our conversation went very similar to Bruno’s song “Marry You.”

If you’re ready, like I’m ready

Sure glad I leaned into his spontaneous suggestion… spent the night dressed up, smiling and dancing, staying up way past my early bird bedtime… and woke up sore from dancing the night away…

And now here we are, at the start of another week! Hoping to get to some travel guides from our adventures this week…

(Last minute dinner at Beauty + Essex… we love their shareable plates and the atmosphere… skirt, top, kitten heels)

(Then Bruno Mars… so epic… they lock your phones away for the night, as he states at the beginning of the concert he wants everyone to be present and not spending the night filming things… photos above were texted to us the next day… such an epic concert.)

(And then back home for a beach bonfire for the girls’ friends… shorts, tank, sweater)

Loving all things suede right now… this little small suede bag is beautiful for now and beyond… suede barely there sandals are great for warmer climates that still want to incorporate the material… suede + gold belt for a smaller touch of it… suede saddle bag… and this suede dress is so cute as well!

lululemon restocked one of my favorite oversized quarter zips... so soft on the inside and I love the fit. Contemplating between the warm ash grey and the black.

These brown pajamas are so cute… I have them in red and a red + white stripe but love the brown for fall…

J.Crew has the prettiest navy satin pants… I have these in the cotton poplin and the petite sizing fits perfectly. Super cute with this sweater tee or this pointelle tee.
