The weekend came and went… and that just continued right into Monday. Hence why this post is coming in much later than I anticipated.
It’s funny, sometimes I feel as if when the girls weren’t in school yet, I had more time to work on posts, get creative, and plan ahead… but over the past couple of years, even though they’re in school full time, I feel as if I’m always playing from behind. I’m not sure if it’s just the busy schedules with extra curriculars (which, was never the plan, they just enjoy so many different things…) but time feels as if it’s harder to come by. Which, obviously there are still 24 hours in a day…. it just feels more compact.
All of that to say, it used to really stress me out, but now I try to operate under the mindset that if I have 50% to give in a day, and I give that 50%, well then I actually gave 100%. It’s helping me give myself a bit of grace here and there… and I hope it helps you a bit too if you’re dealing with the same.
With that, I hope everyone has been having a good start to the week, and I’ll go ahead and share what I hope to share here (but we all know that may or may not happen hahah):
Crossing fingers for styled outfits from April’s Capsule + finally recapping Punta Mita.
(Friday coffee and tea with my mama)
(A beautiful Friday lunch at the beach… and dipping into some butter yellow pieces… jeans, tee, sweater, bag, sandals)
Friday nights…
(Saturday at the soccer field… leggings, tee, jacket)
Saturday night celebrating my brother in laws birthday with a family BBQ… Cardigan, jeans
(Sunday afternoon birthday party for Camille with her sweet little friends. She wanted a Descendants Rise of Red theme…)
Kept it casual and comfortable for the little birthday celebration… jeans, top, jellies

Striped button down
plain oversized button down
pointelle tee
comfortable flip flops
flowy maxi dress
short linen dress
striped tie front top and shorts set
claw clip
striped poplin pants (they say pajama but I think they’d be cute with flats and a tee)
