Weekend Snaps

Like most of our weekends, this one was a balance between a little bit of fun and crossing things off the to-do list… from multiple loads of laundry (including all the beds) and straightening up various areas of the house, there was a wonderful belated family celebration for TJ’s birthday (complete with a homemade carrot cake) and an easy Sunday lunch out with the family.

As always, the weekends go by way to fast… and now here we are at the start of a new week… which will bring us to the halfway point in October (what??).

With that, I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead!

**hopefully coming up this week is a styled outfit post from October’s capsule and a 3rd quarter book roundup….
_____

(School drop off to Friday morning coffee with my mom… jacket, top, sweatpants, sneakers)

(Cool and cozy along the coast for a Friday lunch… jeans, sweater, flats (another option))

(A very happy birthday celebration with the family… girls wanted to set up a “kid’s table…” pumpkin plates, bat tablecloth, stripe napkins)

(Casual and simple for the birthday celebrations… sweater, belt, jeans)

(Sunday dinner and The Dodgers…)

_____

Everlane is having 25% off and some of my fall favorites are included like this merino wool half zip sweater (I own this in ivory, but love the camel), these longsleeve ribbed tops (I have several colors and they’re great staples for the fall season), and I don’t own this cocoon wool coat but it looks beautiful and I have it in my cart…

Jenni Kayne is also having 20% off until Tuesday and the oversized alpaca cocoon sweater I have in several colors and wear all the time is included. Also part of the sale are these cozy shearling clogs (bought these several years ago), Saturday sweatpants and sweatshirt (short gal friendly and drape so nicely), ribbed cashmere v-neck sweater, pleated skirt (in brown, it’s beautiful for fall), and this fluffy oversized cashmere sweater (like wearing a blanket).

Loving these under $130 fall finds from SHOPBOP like this velvet strapless top for a fun night out (or dare I say it, the holidays…), fluffy sweater tank, lace top (another fun one for a night out), black and white stripe sweater, and this oversized tan v-neck sweater.

I’ve been on the waitlist for this suede shirt jacket for a couple of months and it was restocked over the weekend and I snagged it. I love everything from Sezane, so I’m pretty certain this will be not different (plus I own this jacket in a white canvas style and it’s amazing).

These platform Uggs I took to Montana have been restocked (so comfortable). I’m a 6.5 and wear a 7.

Also, we restocked 3 pieces from my design collaboration with La Kaiser: the opal tennis bracelet, larger textured and opal heart necklace, and smaller textured oval pendant.
