We made it to Friday.
I ended up having to come back for Jury Duty Thursday morning, but since I was in the first “potential juror” pool to be interviewed, I was released (dismissed? not sure which word is best haha) after about 15 minutes on Thursday morning….
Which means, the long weekend can start now.
I hope everyone has something fun planned for their weekend ahead… whether it’s relaxing, filled with “end of summer” get togethers, or a combo of both. The weather here is supposed to be beautiful, and we’re heading down to San Diego for a night, so it should be a nice couple of days ahead.
But before I sign off for the next several days, I wanted to share some of the items I personally own, and recommend, from some of the LDW sales. As always with my sales post, if you’re in the market for something I hope this is helpful… but if you’re not, feel free to pass!

This linen sweater was a recent addition for the summer season… it’s so beautiful in person and a great lightweight layer for cool summer days or nights…
Another summer purchase this year was the cotton fisherman sweater (seen above). Such a great weight for all seasons, and not cashmere if you’re sensitive to wool (I have the oversized cashmere version and love it as well… so beautiful and soft.. and the color I have is made from recycled cashmere, which I appreciate).
My go-to cashmere cocoon cardigan is also included… there is a cotton version as well if you’re not a cashmere fan…
These sweatpants and this sweatshirt, which have been in my previous capsules are also on sale… and so comfortable (considering adding the grey shade for the upcoming season)…
And this white flowy dress, which I purchased back in 2021 and took with me on so many travels. It’s so comfortable (it was perfect in Italy for that very reason, haha!)
I have these shearling clogs, that I purchased last winter and absolutely love them. I can’t recommend them more.

these washed black vintage jeans (they have the perfect amount of stretch)… they come in petite and tall lengths, which I appreciate, and they’ve been a denim staple for me since 2021….
I purchased this black blazer last season and it’s beautiful… great for elevating a basic outfit or for business casual environments…
and one of my favorite pairs of fall sneakers… these trainers… are also included. I’ve had these since 2020 and they’re really comfortable. They are heavier than typical sneakers, but for sure comfortable enough for all day wear (I wore them when we went to the San Diego Zoo a couple of summers ago…)
I don’t own this olive shirtdress, but I think it would be beautiful for a fall work wardrobe… and I’m always a sucker for a good, comfortable, sweatshirt and this grey hoodie looks perfect…

Haven Well Within makes such comfortable loungewear, that can also be worn out of the house… and they’re having 25% off sitewide. I wore this set a lot this summer, but it has since sold out… I did order a couple of new items….

I have been using this micro dose retinol serum for 5 months now and can’t recommend it more- I didn’t experience any of the negative side effects of other retinol serums and my skin looks smoother, brighter, and more even in tone.
I also love their corrective eye cream for daytime use (I’ve been using it for about a year now) and the ultra facial cream as a daytime moisturizer…
