We woke up bright and early Friday morning and headed to Disneyland just as they were opening… and what a day we had. We spent 10 straight hours going on rides (Thunder Mountain was the family favorite), taking in parades, and seeing the characters. We rode 15 rides (one ride was repeated 3xs…), walked 16,000 steps, and at the end of the day, every single one of us was exhausted. Disneyland has a way of being simultaneously magical and exhausting…. but always leaves you with amazing memories. We hadn’t been since 2018, when we had passes and were just a family of three… so it felt extra special, with this being our first time as a family of four.

The rest of the weekend was spent nursing what I heard someone call a “Disneyland hangover…” where the thought of doing anything stimulating was simply out of the picture. We lounged around most of the day Saturday… and Sunday we were a bit more productive with five loads of laundry and a fun home projected I surprised TJ with (haha).

And now here we are, leaving the weekend behind us and heading into another Monday and a fresh new week ahead. I hope everyone has a great one ahead!
