It was a weekend of “make-ups” for us. Since so many of our holiday plans were canceled, we “celebrated” most of them over the past few days. We had a “make-up” NYE with good friends (and their kiddos), complete with a sleepover and past midnight bedtime… and then on Sunday afternoon we finally celebrated Christmas with my entire family (my grandma even busted out her adorable Christmas sweater and earrings)… and while none of these celebrations happened when they were “supposed” to, they still felt special and festive in their own right… proving that it’s not when, or where, but who you’re with that really matters most.

And with that, I hope everyone had a great weekend and has a good start to the week ahead… I always appreciate a Monday that’s actually a Tuesday… anyone else??
