All day yesterday, I couldn’t get warm. The wind was blowing which put an extra chill in the air. As I waited outside to pick Harper up at school, it was pretty much all everyone could talk about…. how cold the wind was. We had the heat on all day and a fire in the fireplace…..

Then on instagram I asked what the temps were for people where they lived… as the answers started rolling in I felt a bit wimpy….

“-14 F” (um, I have never experienced a cold like that….)
“-45 with min in North Dakota”…… (ditto to above)
“5 degrees in the mountains of CO….”
“-11”
“-25 windchill in Iowa… I couldn’t get warm today either…”

Ok… so I guess I should disclose what my version of cold was…..

57 (including the wind chill…..)

I officially do not really know what cold is like….

Annnnd, with that being said, I’ve styled 21 outfits from February’s Capsule Wardrobe (original post here for all items)…. and I’m guessing that many of you will need a much heavier top layer than I have here!

Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! We’re having friends over, that we haven’t seen for almost 2 years, for a BBQ and then just hanging out….
