The last month of the year. Hard to believe we only have 29 more days left in 2021… I still feel as if it should be May… anyone else?
Anyway, with a new month brings a new capsule wardrobe. This month was a bit more challenging, as I know many parts of the nation are experiencing much cooler temps than we are… we’re still working on settling into some consistently cool temps (it’ll be 60’s this weekend and then 84 next Monday). Given that, I tried to incorporated one heavy coat, a few more “outerwear” items, and then provide options in the outfits I provided below….
You’ll still find many of my go-to pieces I’ve included in capsule’s past, but I added in a few new items (new to the capsules, but I’ve shared here before) given the changing seasons. As always, I hope it helps getting ready in the mornings, and streamlining your wardrobe, a bit easier…
A few notes…
As far as heavier outerwear goes, any neutral pieces should mix in perfectly with these items but I included this faux fur coat that I took to Park City because it kept me nice and warm (in sub 30 degree temps), and I felt that it really elevated an otherwise neutral wardrobe. This black puffer coat (or this one that I shared Tuesday, under $70) would work as well (it also kept me nice and toasty in PC)…
I list out some scarves and beanies below for cooler temps, and I think this cashmere wrap scarf (sesame color) is so warm and versatile, so it pairs nicely with any of the outfits below… as does this black scarf and beanie… and this camel colored beanie. When I mention socks, I can’t recommend this cashmere pair, or this wool sock, more… so comfortable and warm (the only way I was able to wear sneakers in PC).
