Weekend Recap || Goodbye Summer Vacation

We spent last week, and this weekend, both enjoying the last full week of summer vacation and making preparations for the start of the school year this week. I enjoyed a three hour long dinner with an old girlfriend I hadn’t seen in a couple of years, along with a girl’s day with my grandma, sister, and mom… and then this weekend we spent time doing things around the house that we’ve had on our “to-do” list the entire summer… hang sconces in the backyard, find some plants for the patio, clean out the office/guest room… but balanced it all out with a little pool time and relaxation as well…

And as we head into the week ahead, it’s sort of go time… time to get into the mindset of prepping lunches (and figuring out exactly what those will look like), cleaning out one disastrous closet (of a 5 year old who will remain nameless…), getting school supplies, and squeezing in some last minute fun before the routine of the school year sets upon us Thursday.

Here’s to a productive week everyone!

(Had a girl’s lunch with my mom, grandpa, and sister by the beach… so fun to be together…. my dress (15% off with code NATALIE15))

(Took these cuties out for a sweet treat to start the weekend….)

(Friday night date night at Malibu Farms… the nachos are the best… top, jeans, necklace)

(Got my hands on a gluten free sourdough bread loaf so we could make our avocado toast with super thick bread slices… this one is from coco bakes and it was delicious!)

(Went on a Saturday mission to find olive bushes for our patio… was so excited when we finally found them at a local nursery)

(Wore these pieces all weekend long… crop, biker shorts)

(And ended up at our favorite spot every night… blanket)

(Started a new book, poolside, Sunday afternoon…)

and this dip dye terry cloth sweatshirt has the prettiest colors…

these woven mules look like a great option to wear with jeans and dresses…

this half zip is like the white one I wore all last year… super soft and comfortable…

and love this white one shoulder bodysuit for a night out…

this casual crop long sleeve tee would be super cute with high waisted jeans and for lounging…

and this stripe jogger and henley set looks super comfortable…

and I’ll be wearing these trainer sneakers all throughout cold weather season…

And in case you’re still feeling summer sharing a few cute items below that would be great for late season….

I think this terry cloth button down and shorts combo in the sage color would be cute for lounging or as a cover-up…

and this crochet top would look adorable with high waisted denim, shorts or pants….

this pink tank is a fun pop of color…

the open back on this ribbed bodysuit is so chic… great for a night out….

and this ruffle cotton skirt would be super cute with a bodysuit or fitted tank… great for a casual day out…
