We haven’t had a “real” Monday over here in a couple of weeks, so yesterday seemed particularly long and I was left being thankful that we were already at hump day. Except we weren’t, because it was actually Monday… and now it’s only Tuesday….

And it’s February. I was mixed on January. I didn’t feel as if it went by particularly slow… but I didn’t find it to fly by like other months (i.e. December….). But with the new month, comes a new capsule wardrobe + a full month’s worth of outfits….

Last month I made very few purchases and relied heavily on wearing items I already owned. I invested in the Jenni Kayne Sweater coat, pants, + tee… and attempted to mix all my pieces together using last month’s capsule wardrobe. I have to admit that it felt really good wearing items over + over… and I truly felt that my “investment” pieces really got their cost per wear (I typically use this to evaluate if something is worth investing in or not…). So for this month, I used a lot of items you’ve seen before + mixed in the oversized trench coat (a new purchase, as I’ve mentioned before) + this fun leopard dress that I bought for Napa.

This time around, I left accessories, shoes, + bags off of it… because this really depends on your day….. but I’ve included a few suggestions for you below, all would work seamlessly with the outfits I put together….

Madewell has some great accessories… like this knit beanie, white baseball cap, denim baseball cap, + leopard tote bag would all be great pieces to mix in with the outfits below….

Sam Edelman has some of my favorite mules and other great options… and the Birdie’s flats are always a smart investment…..

And as far as jewelry goes… you all know Gorjana has some of my favorite go-to pieces (like this crescent necklace + lariat necklace)….

Some great sneaker alternatives to Golden Goose include Tretorn (like walking on clouds), Veja, + P448 (super cushioned)….
