Last Tuesday we were thrilled to be able to attend the LUXE Line Launch from one of our favorite jewelry designers, Kendra Scott. We’ve been fans of her line for a while and loved hosting our Girl’s Night Out Event there in October (check out the highlights here). So, naturally, when we heard she was launching her high-end line we were beyond ecstatic.
Meeting Kendra Scott herself (looking fab in her LBD) only solidified our love for the line. It’s a wonderful feeling when you meet someone who is just as fabulous as the pieces they produce. Kendra was genuine and demonstrated such contagious passion about her line, that you couldn’t help but love it all. In our short conversation she conveyed that her line has a “psychography” as opposed to “demography.” It knows no age limits. It’s intended for a 16 year old or an 85 year old. What these two individual ladies have in common is a love of dressing up, being social, traveling, and jewelry… and really, what woman doesn’t love at least one of those? She spoke passionately about being a mother of 3 boys and a newborn (by the way, how fabulous does she look…she accredited it to SPANKS… we’d beg to differ), being a soccer mom, and insisting that her jewelry line be versatile enough to wear to a girl’s night out, the boardroom, or to the soccer field. How real is that?
A real woman, passionate about what she does, with a beautifully crafted new line. The new LUXE line is a fusion between her traditional pieces and her newer vision. Each piece is intricately made with quality, natural stones, such as banded agate a druzy in pave settings with 14k gold, gunmetal, and rhodium-plated metal. Prices range from $175-$1,000, with 15 styles of rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings with gemstones that have never been used in previous collections.
