Everyday Style || Best Graphic + Band Tees + Sweatshirts….

I just have to say, moving isn’t for the faint of heart. So. Much. Work. Between packing, unpacking, getting everything in its right place… and then purging…. I’m spent. Literally. Yesterday we went through most of the remaining boxes in the garage, and I did what I imagine is the trendy Marie Kondo-ing….. nothing stood a chance in my path. I figured if I hadn’t used it in the five months since we had been living at my parents, then I simply didn’t need it…..  All that to say, we’re almost there, and I plan on living in this home for the rest of my life… if not to simply avoid moving again. Kudos to all of those out there who have to move frequently.

Given the activities over the past several days, I’ve been living in leggings + sweatshirts… yet today is a different day, and I plan on pulling myself together a little… maybe some make-up… maybe do my hair… and wear something other than the aforementioned clothing items. Enter the band tee/sweatshirt. Such a simple and easy, albeit relatively trendy, way to take any basic everyday outfit to an elevated level. I’ve amassed quite a few over the past couple of years… and since becoming pregnant, they’ve made the regular wardrobe rotation…. simply because they’re typically super soft (“#vintage”)  and a mindless way to look pulled together. I get a lot of questions about them, so today I thought I’d round up all my favorites, and include a few that I don’t own at various price points!

I snagged this oversized Pink Floyd sweatshirt a few weeks ago… love the length, the slight oversized nature… and if I wasn’t pregnant, I’d likely front tuck it. I contemplated styling it with these leather leggings, but opted for the jeans here….

The first two band tees I ever bought (no longer available) were from the brand Daydreamer… and ever since I’ve been hooked on the brand. Included in my dresser drawers from the line include this Pink Floyd Animals Tour tee (bottom right photo) + this Guns N’ Roses mustard tee (currently on sale, bottom left photo). I also love this black The Who muscle tank (top right photo)… easily layers under cardigans, or perfect solo as well…. and this Grateful Dead Tee (top left) is on constant repeat… mainly because it’s a longer length… and also because, well, like all the others, it’s so soft I basically lounge in it too.

A few other options, under $50 include this ACDC tee, Rolling Stones tee, black + white Ramones tee, and this Queen top. ….

If you’re not into the band style, a few “graphic” options I love include this Anine Bing sweatshirt (featured in yesterday’s weekend recap), summer themed blush sweatshirt, and this wild flower pullover….

And honestly, anyway you want to wear them works… leggings, jeans, joggers, cut-offs, over a swimsuit, with a skirt… under a cardigan, bomber jacket, leather jacket, or teddy coat…. or just lounging around the house…. you can’t go wrong. Again, an easy way to look pulled together in seconds!
