We’re in the final crunch days of our first phase of our home renovation… the phase that will enable us to finally live in it! After heading over there last night, I realized that with everything left, our “tentative” (we’ve had several of those along this process….) move in date of this Friday will likely become a reality. Saying our prayers + crossing our fingers there aren’t any hiccups….
Anyhow…. back to this post. It’s typically around this time of the year that I try to incorporate a few more lighter neutrals into my daily wardrobe…. logical, right? I mean, we are in the dead middle of winter…. rain all week, and temps in the 50’s. Yet there is something crisp and refreshing about a winter whites neutral outfit. I’ve had the same pair of white jeans for the past several years, and seem to have misplaced them in the move…. so I went on the hunt for a new pair and started with all the white denim options here. I ultimately decided on this non-distressed pair (whether or not I’ll be adding my own personal distressing is still undetermined)… they’re the perfect amount of stretch, high waisted (not that they actually button on me right now), and the length is great for my shorter legs. I plan to wear them with this chunky knit, casual sweatshirt (love this graphic one), super soft chambray button-up, and this teddy jacket.
Either way, you’ll see them on repeat a lot this winter + spring season!
