Happy Friday friends! I’ve been an entire day ahead of my self this week… which is never fun! Buuut, the weekend is here and I’m just a tad excited. We’ll be heading to Disneyland this weekend to check out the Halloween decorations, and then there isn’t much on the agenda. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend as well….
Today I’m sharing some of my favorite products from this past month…. items I use on the regular and know you’ll love too!
__________
FOOD:
1. Simple Mills Products: (featured above) We’ve been using these baking products non-stop since I discovered them several weeks ago. I started with the pancake/waffle mix for Harper and then moved onto the chocolate muffins (can also be brownies), pumpkin muffins, and chocolate chip cookies. With less than 10 real, clean, ingredients per package it helps me know that what I’m giving Harper isn’t full of, for lack of a better word, crap.
2. Trader Joe’s Riced Mixed Veggies: I stumbled across this new product last weekend when I was grocery shopping. It’s pretty much riced cauliflower elevated… with riced carrots, broccoli, onions, and cauliflower. I’ve replaced my riced cauliflower for this in my cauliflower fried rice recipe.
3. Rustic Pizza Crust: I’ve always been all about the cauliflower pizza crusts, but when I got pregnant I was craving something a little heartier. This crust was a game changer (I get mine at Sprouts). It gets crispy on the outside but stays soft on the inside. #GameChanger…..
BEAUTY:
1. OPI Infinte Shine Somewhere Over The Rainbow Mountains: I bought this nail polish for Hawaii because I was looking for something that wasn’t super dark… or the tan that I’ve been wearing the past month. I’m obsessed with this color for fall. It’s a blend of pink + tan… the perfect hue for fall if you’re not wanting a dark black or navy….
2. TULA Insta Bright Energizing + Brightening Face Mask: (feature above)… Ok, so I look like I’m super mad and that I’m ready for Halloween wearing this mask, but oh my, it works! It truly instantly gives your skin a boost in a quick 10 minutes. I did this right after I put Harper down and gave myself a few minutes to unwind from the day. The mask locks in moisture, brightens the skin, and gives it a more plump appearance. 20% off with code SHANNON
3. Native Deodorant: Shared all about my experience with this natural deodorant here, but it’s seriously so good. As the weeks have gone by, it has continued to work, and while I know it’s not an antiperspirant, I feel as if it has done a really good job of keeping me dry (then again, I’m not working out with the same intensity that I used to….) and TJ has reported the same. You can get 10% off with code Itsy10.
FASHION:
1. Leopard Booties: Shared these beauties yesterday, but they were sold out! I found them available in all sizes, and they’re so worth it. Low heeled, comfortable, and you can’t beat the leopard for fall. I think they’d be super cute with an all black outfit (these jeans + top) too.
2. High Waisted Air Brushed Workout Pants: I’m such a huge fan of Alo, and now own these leggings in 3 colors. They fit like a dream and you can never beat an amazing pair of high waisted leggings. This cranberry color is perfect for fall.
3. Post-Workout Pullover: I actually purchased this easy, oversized, pullover last season but they brought it back and I had to share. It’s easy to wear with jeans as well… or joggers… but I typically toss it on pre + post workouts.
4. Ivory Maxi Dress: I wore this dress in our announcement photos… and last weekend tossed it on with kicks + a suede jacket for church. It’s such an easy throw-on-and-go option for fall…. and with the midi/maxi length (depending on how tall you are) it can keep your legs warm in cool temps.
5. Teddy Coat: (featured above) The perfect cozy, everyday, jacket for fall and winter. It’s a honey colored hue and pairs well with so many different shoe/top/bottom combinations. It’s slightly oversized, which is nice because you can easily layer a sweater underneath it. I purchased mine in a small.
6. Distressed Joggers: My distressed obsession is real… and these joggers are not exception. I bought them to travel to Hawaii, and have been wearing them non-stop since returning. They fit oversized, so I recommend sizing down for a slightly more fitted look… they look better when they’re more fitted.
7. Faux Fur Vest: I always love faux fur for fall, and if you do too, this neutral hued vest is a great option. I’ve worn it with a bodysuit and jeans… but it can easily work with faux leather leggings and a cute henley for a casual look… or pair over this silky rust slip-dress for a fancy evening.
8. Leopard Sneakers: I’m always asked about comfortable sneakers that are great for everyday living. As I’ve mentioned before, Tretorns are my favorites… and these don’t fail in the comfort department. They run slightly large so if you’re between sizes, I recommend sizing down. You can see them styled here.
9. Stripe Sweater: This one has all the makings for a great fall sweater… it’s slightly oversized and super comfortable…. pair it with leggings, jeans, or joggers… or, depending on how causal your work environment is, slacks for the office. I like that they colors aren’t too bright, more subtle than other options out there right now.
10. Velvet Blazer: One of my favorite “dressy” items for fall and winter seasons… love it paired over a lace camisole with jeans… or over a beautiful slip-dress during the holidays. This one is a mix between gold and mustard… more of a marigold hue if you will. The crinkle look gives it a great texture too!
