Well, our house was supposed to officially go on the market today…. but after meeting with the realtor yesterday, we decided to postpone it until next week. Why? We didn’t get our acts together enough to make it fully “presentable…” I mean, come on now…. how hard can that possibly be with our tornado daughter running around?? Kidding, but kind of not. We had him do a run through to give us a few tips on areas that “could use some improvement…” and, SURPRISE(!!), my closet was one of them. So…. if you want to know what I’ll be doing in most of my spare time, I’ll be knee deep in my closet…..

Buuuut, when I do come up for air… like this coming weekend as we head up to San Luis Obispo for our family reunion… I’ll be wearing breezy, simple outfits, like this little jumpsuit. Basically, acceptable pajamas. Seriously… it’s slightly baggy without looking like a sack…. and it’s roomy enough to comfy up on the couch…. easy enough to run after a toddler in… but acceptable enough for a casual work environment… lunch date… or even dressy enough for a night out. I mean, it’s basically the jumpsuit of all jumpsuits, IMO. I was hesitant to make the purchase at first though. Being on the short side makes it more difficult to pull off certain trends… jumpsuits being one of them. Not wanting to get lost in the fabric, I examined the measurements and decided they’d work… and it didn’t disappoint. So, if you’re on the short side like I am, look for inseams around 16-18″… it ensures enough of the ankle shows to not make us look any shorter than we already are…. and enables us to wear them with flats… like these über comfortable studded pair (more Sam Edeleman sandals)…..

A few other jumpsuits that I’m loving for summertime include this floral off the shoulder option, wide leg black button-up jumpsuit, wide legged ruched jumpsuit (so perfect for summer! love the black and red), beige stripe lace-up option, gorgeous basic black suit (would be beautiful for an evening out), and this casual olive green jumpsuit…..

Back to my closet I go……
