There are not many pieces as versatile and lovely as a maxi dress. But now that it’s Fall (even though you’d never know it in Southern California), I’m looking to warm up my wardrobe! That’s why this new long sleeved, grey maxi from LuLu*s.com is my favorite new piece! It is perhaps the most comfortable dress in my closet, and the color is perfectly basic, which allows me to pair it with anything like this jean jacket-the perfect piece to transition the dress to Fall.

On that note, check out this gorgeous crystal necklace, also from LuLu*s.com! I fell in love with this necklace when I first saw it online. These colors are the perfect bright Fall colors, and I love the way they add a pop of glitz and color to the neutral dress and jacket. Plus, this necklace can transition between all seasons, and we all know how much I appreciate versatility!

I said the dress was basic, but I LOVE the detail on the back. The details of the strappy scoop back and ruched cuffs make it appropriately revealing and pretty, and it takes it from simple to a ready-to wear piece!

 Because the dress is a neutral color, I paired it with my leopard flats for one last textural and patterned pop. I just love the versatility of this dress, and the fact that it’s like a blank canvas that allows me to be creative with all my accessories! I can’t wait to wear this dress and necklace again…likely in various different ways (Think: with a fur vest for a fun girl’s night, with strappy sandals and light, casual jewelry, etc.)!
