(Kicked off the weekend with a little couple’s time in Vegas…..)
When this evening rolled around, I honestly couldn’t tell you what day of the week it was. With my weekend starting early on Thursday with a quick 48 hour trip to Vegas with TJ, my days were all mixed up…
We spent the majority of the weekend, after we returned home, at the pool, lounging with family and friends, and not doing much of anything. We ate good food, drank good drinks, enjoyed good conversation, and ate entirely too much. I didn’t wear make-up, air dried my hair, and lived in the same cut-offs and cozy sweatshirt for the past two days. Yet, that’s what the 4th of July is all about for me….
So, as I started to type this post, I felt a pang of sadness that the past several, highly anticipated, days had come to an end. Then, I realized tomorrow is Wednesday. We’re already halfway to another weekend friends! Here’s to a week of getting stuff done, and rolling into another couple of glorious days off, sooner, rather than later!
(We noshed on fish tacos poolside…..)
(And sipped a little champagne on ice…. my suit)
(We returned home, and headed out for a family run and delicious avo toast….)
(Then spent the rest of the weekend being festive….. sweatshirt, Harper’s tee, Harper’s sandals)
(Sipping rosé and enjoying family time….)
(And being thankful for all that I’ve been blessed with…. my top)

It was a relatively indulgent several days, and I’m looking forward to getting back on track this week. I picked up my groceries for the short week and plan on finishing the week strong. I’ve been doing this stair-master workout twice a week and plan on continuing with it tomorrow morning. I typically pair it with a good booty workout.
While I shared some of my favorite items from the 4th of July sales over the weekend, there have been so many great new arrivals that I have my eye on! I love, love this open knit side tie sleeveless sweater, oversized cotton henley (so perfect for summer nights), and this pretty little rose colored pullover. I’m also thinking this cute little stripe tee, oversized drape front tee, tie front swing tank, and this and this oversized v-neck tee are perfect everyday throw on and go pieces. This longer pair of distressed high rise cut-offs are in my cart, and I’m thinking they would be super cute with this smocked square neck stripe top or this ruffle chambray top (which is currently 30% off). I’m also slightly obsessed with this plum embroidered top…. the color is so gorgeous for summer and fall. And, how adorable is this chambray dress with pockets??
We have some fun summer events coming up in the next month, and I think this floral maxi dress, lace trim trapeze dress, boho print tunic dress, and this gingham dress.
I am also loving this beautiful post-pool day wrap coverup and think it would be gorgeous with these tassel slides. I also snagged these tassel slip ons and I am obsessed with them.
