As we headed into June I was anticipating what we’ve experiencing every June since I can remember: June Gloom… where there weather stays gloomy and overcast for 85% of the day, finally breaking around 3pm. Yet, to my surprise (and TBH, excitement, gloom gets me down this time of the year), the weather has been anything but gloomy (knocking on wood right now…). Essentially meaning it’s been shorts and a top kind of days, versus the linen pants and jeans I was anticipating for the better part of June.
And I’m not complaining….
As far as styled outfits from the summer capsule go, I’m doing things a bit differently this month. Since there are so many different outfit possibilities, I am going to do it in phases. Today I’m starting with 20 outfits I’ve worn from the collection, and in two weeks I will share another round of outfits that I’ve worn. Hopefully these are a good starting point for visualizing how these capsule pieces can all work together.
