It was a *very* low key weekend for us over here. Camille came down with something mid-week (as I mentioned in my last post), and just when I thought it was something mild, she woke up the next day with some nasty stomach issues. They subsided for 24 hours, and then we had an incident Friday before bed. So for the past few days it’s been lots of rest, movies, and popsicles over here…

TJ and I were chatting on Saturday night about how when one member of the family is down for the count, and not their usual self, it impacts everyone. Harper said she “missed playing with Camille,” and TJ and I said we mildly missed the arguing between the two of them. And what I guess we meant by that, is that you miss the personality that takes a back seat as the little one gets better.

So as we head into the second to last Monday of the school year (not sure how that happened) I do so with a hopeful heart that our littlest lady will be on the mend sooner rather than later… and that the house will be filled with all the noises we’ve become accustomed to….

Out go-to beach towels were recently restocked… we have these in the black and white, pink stripe, and navy stripe… they’ve held up really well over the past 2 years.

Love the look of “barely there” sandals… two pairs I have my eye on include this pair and this pair…

My favorite seagrass straw hat is unraveling a bit (I blame it on constant packing for trips….) I found this one, same brand, that I’m considering as a replacement…
