Weekend Recap

mai tais, isty bitsy indulgences {The first Mai Tai of the trip (bracelets gold + gray)}

After a 6 hour flight with a 5 month old, we made it safely to Hawaii! It took a few days for all of us to settle into a routine in a new place, but I think it’s safe to say that its been successful. We’ve enjoyed long walks and workouts in the morning (more to come this week), lazy days by the pool (as lazy as they can really get with a baby), delicious food (and cocktails of course), beautiful sunsets, and amazing family time. It’s crazy how much time and effort goes into planning a vacation, and how once you are there all that stress simply melts away. I’ve been very cognizant of being mindful and in the moment with each experience, as I know Saturday will come so quickly and I will end up wondering where the time went! I hope you all are having an amazing, long, weekend with those you love! Happy Memorial Day!

You can follow along via snapchat (@shanpulsiferiBi) or instagram for more Hawaii fun…and I’ll be sharing a post on my Kauai favorites in the next coming weeks!

I’ve been keeping up with BBG on this trip (along with long walks) and compiled my own beach workout to come later this week!

I posted about the best Memorial Day Sales on Saturday, check it out in case you missed it!

A few extra items that ended up in my shopping cart over the weekend include this gorgeous cover-up (Nordstrom has a pretty great selection of swimwear and cover-ups currently on sale!) and this romper cover-up (which could be worn out to dinner, or to a brunch as well.). I lived in this dress when I was pregnant, and I am considering buying it in black too (since the one I have is striped). I’m loving this boho swing dress for a casual day date, this gorgeous floral skirt (worn with a side tied tank), this lace trim halter top, and this stripe pocket tank. This pair of rose gold and tortoise shell sunnies are pretty amazing, rose gold stackable midi rings which are perfect for a basic jeans and a tee kind of day), and these denim platform wedges are pretty fabulous too!

A few items I’ve been living in since coming to Hawaii include this simple maxi dress (I also wear it all the time at home… perfect for anything.), these beach cover-up pants, and this sweater (with shorts) for relaxing evenings bbqing. This white lace up tank has been the perfect throw on and go with my favorite denim shorts and flip flops.
