Spring Style || Dressed Up Comfort

I’ve been vacillating between a desire to get “dressed-up” + a pull to just sit around in comfy lounge clothes…. and knowing that the latter will likely be taking over any day now, I’ve been trying to find a compromise. You know, something between “I’m ready for a fun day out + can I just sit on the couch all day long….”

Enter my tried and true go-to combo… joggers + a tee… simply made brighter for spring, with pieces that can easily be mixed in with other wardrobe favorites. In contrast to my fall + winter jogger looks, I opted for lighter material, neutral white shades, and warm weather accessories to make it spring friendly. I’d been on the hunt for a cute pair of distressed joggers for a while, and just couldn’t find any cute options… until I stumbled across this pair I knew they’d fit the bill. Comfortable, the perfect color for spring, and just the right amount of distressing to make them look a little different than sleepwear. Instead of my tried + true sneakers, I’ve been pairing them with these super comfortable studded sandals + this white denim jacket (a great spring basic alternative to a regular wash denim jacket). Alone, they’re all excellent basics…. but put together they make for one amazingly comfortable, pulled together, casual everyday spring outfit…..

I snagged all these pieces from Walmart... whose spring collection is filled with excellent everyday basic options like the pieces I’m wearing today…. so many great joggers basic tees. I especially love their premium designer line of shoes (filled with designers such as Vince Camuto + Splendid to name a few) and there are so many great options for spring. And with their easy + fast shipping it makes shopping a cinch!

So, here’s to dressed up comfort for the next several days… if I can manage it!

Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post. As always, I selected my own pieces + opinions are my own.
