For as long as I can remember, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has been one of my favorite shopping events of the year. Growing up, my mom, sister, and I would make a day of it every summer, and for years it was one of the few sales where you could confidently stock up on timeless wardrobe staples, quality basics, and investment pieces before the season even started.
But if you’ve shopped the sale over the last several years, you’ve probably noticed what I have: it isn’t quite what it used to be.
The selection has changed. There are fewer standout finds, more products that don’t feel all that special, and it’s become much easier to feel overwhelmed by hundreds of “sale” recommendations that don’t necessarily deserve a place in your closet.
Instead of trying to share everything that’s discounted, I searched through the preview and narrowed it down to the pieces I genuinely think are worth it. Every item in this guide is something I either own and love, have repeatedly recommended over the years, or would confidently spend my own money on today.
You’ll notice this isn’t a list of hundreds of products. That’s intentional.
My goal has never been to convince you to buy more. It’s to help you buy better. If you’ve been following along recently, you know that’s become the philosophy behind everything I share—from building a wardrobe with more longevity to focusing on pieces that earn their place through versatility, quality, and cost per wear.
Whether you’re replacing a favorite basic, investing in a piece you’ll wear for years, or simply browsing to see if there’s anything truly worth adding to your closet, I hope this guide helps you shop with confidence…
ITEMS WE OWN AND RECOMMEND || WOMEN
Moonlight Pajamas
Why I recommend: I’ve owned these for years and continue to repurchase them. They’re incredibly soft, wash beautifully, and I reach for them every summer season.
Soft Stretch Thong
Why I recommend: These are the only underwear I consistently stock up on during the sale. They’re seamless under almost everything, stay comfortable all day, and hold up incredibly well over time.
New Balance 327 Sneakers
Why it made my list: I’ve owned these for years and still reach for them regularly. They’re lightweight, incredibly comfortable for travel and long days on your feet, and pair just as easily with dresses as they do with denim. I brought them with me to Europe a few summers ago and they racked up many miles in Italy.
Spanx AirPiqué Jumpsuit
Why it made my list: One of those effortless one-and-done outfits that looks polished with almost no effort. It’s comfortable enough for travel or everyday wear and perfect for kiddo sporting events.
Celine Triomphe 53mm Sunglasses !!!!
Why it made my list: The sunglasses I wear daily. A classic silhouette that instantly elevates even the simplest outfit. I’ve found them to be one of those accessories I reach for over and over because they never feel trendy.
AWAY The Bigger Flex Carry-On
Why it made my list: After traveling extensively, I can confidently say great luggage is worth the investment. This one is thoughtfully designed, durable, and packed with practical features that make travel easier. I’ve had it for about a 1.5 years and when I only need a carryon size, it’s my go-to.
Spanx AirEssentials Half-Zip Sweatshirt
Why it made my list: The AirEssentials fabric lives up to the hype. It’s unbelievably soft, drapes beautifully, and is one of my favorite travel layers because it looks polished without sacrificing comfort.
Spanx AirEssentials Wide Leg Pants
Why it made my list: These are the pants I reach for when I want to be comfortable but still feel put together. I’ve worn them everywhere from travel days to running errands, and they always look elevated. I have them in a navy shade and they are truly air soft.
Vuori Villa Wide Leg Pants !!!!!
Why it made my list: These have become one of my most-worn travel pants. They’re lightweight, incredibly comfortable, resist wrinkles, and are easy to dress up or down depending on the day.
Vuori Daily Layered Crop Tank
Why it made my list: I love that this combines a supportive sports bra with a polished tank in one piece. It’s become a staple for workouts.
Bombas Lightweight No-Show Socks
Why it made my list: These are the no-show socks I reach for most often. They stay in place, are incredibly comfortable, and hold up wash after wash—something that’s surprisingly hard to find.
HOKA Clifton One9 Sneakers
Why it made my list: If comfort is your top priority, these are hard to beat. I’ve been wearing them for workouts for the past year and I can’t recommend them more.
UGG Cozetta Genuine Shearling Slippers
Why it made my list: These have been a favorite for cozy mornings and evenings at home. They’re plush and comfortable. I will add that sometimes Nordstrom Anniversary sale Uggs aren’t as great of quality (I don’t know why), so keep that in mind,
BEAUTY
Beauty is one category where I actually stock up during the Anniversary Sale. These are products I use regularly, have repurchased over the years, and would happily buy even if they weren’t on sale.

Nécessaire The Body Wash
Why it made my list: This is my everyday body wash and one I’ve repurchased multiple times. It cleanses without drying my skin and feels like a small luxury I genuinely look forward to using.
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 50
Why it made my list: One of the sunscreens I reach for most because it layers beautifully under makeup without feeling heavy or greasy. If you wear sunscreen daily, this is one worth stocking up on.
Kopari Golden Sunglaze Sheer Body Mist Sunscreen
Why it made my list: My friend had this for a recent pool day and I love how easy this makes reapplying sunscreen throughout the day. It gives skin a beautiful glow without feeling sticky, making it perfect for beach days, travel, and summer. This is a recent favorite.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm
Why it made my list: I’ve gone through multiple jars of this over the years. It effortlessly removes makeup while leaving my skin soft and hydrated, and it’s still one of my favorite first cleanses.
OSEA Undaria Algae™ Body Butter
Why it made my list: If I could only recommend one body moisturizer, this would be it. It’s rich without feeling greasy, absorbs beautifully, and leaves my skin noticeably softer.
Supergoop! PLAY Antioxidant Body Mist SPF 50
Why it made my list: This is the sunscreen you’ll find packed for nearly every beach vacation. It’s incredibly easy to apply and reapply, making it perfect for long days outside.
OSEA Exfoliate + Glow Body Trio
Why it made my list: This trio includes three of my favorite OSEA body products in one set. I use the body scrub to smooth and prep my skin, then follow with the body oil and body butter for long-lasting hydration and glow. If you’ve been wanting to try OSEA—or you’re already a fan—this is one of the best values in the sale.
