Fall Favorites From J. Crew

I started reading “One by One” by Ruth Ware Sunday evening and I’m hooked trying to figure out what’s going to happen. I haven’t read a Ruth Ware book in two years (I’m not sure why I took a hiatus from her books) and I am reminded how good they really are. They keep me guessing the entire way through (although I typically think I know what’s going to happen halfway through the book….)…

And while books aren’t entirely related to today’s post (okay, they aren’t at all) the book setting is in a snowy ski resort in the French Alps, which makes me crave all things cozy as I transport myself to the fictional place. Given that, I’m sharing some favorite fall items from J. Crew’s new fall collection…. all pieces that can be easily mixed and matched, and dressed up or down (well, mainly the slip-dress) with soft textures on the body…

I’m a particular fan on this longer sweater coat in the heathered blush. I own the shorter version of this coatigan, and it’s been a staple for several years now. So I know that this new one will become a go-to as well…

And with that I am signing off to go engross myself in the mystery that is unfolding in the French Alps…. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
