I finished the book I mentioned earlier in the week (“Watching You” by Lisa Jewell), ordered another one (along with “The 3 Day Potty Training….” jealous???), and starting “The Dropout” tonight (it came very highly recommended)… so while the Monday through Friday often feels like a bit of a hamster wheel, at least the entertainment I choose to loose myself in is somewhat exhilarating and leaves me on the edge of my seat… anyone else feel the same??….
And along the same lines of same same, this ribbed tank has been on heavy rotation as of late. As with most items I purchase, it’s versatility, practicality, and comfort are what convinced me it would become a wardrobe staple this spring and summer (and fall) season. I’ve worn it for casual days in loungewear, dressed it up for a date night (in a styled reel), and then dressed it down for a day date with TJ the other weekend… then mixed it in with my normal Monday through Friday outfits…. and added it into the mix for May’s capsule wardrobe (coming this Tuesday). I ended up going up a size because I didn’t want it to feel too fitted. Sharing a round-up of all the ways I’ve worn it lately below… and if you have something similar, these styling options should easily work!
Ribbed tank aside, when Wednesday evening rolls around, we’re all very ready for the downhill slop of the week over here. And this week is no exception. After a few buys weekends in a row, we really have nothing on the calendar, which feels nice. No need to rush around, we can sort of be spontaneous and see where the weekend takes us…
