This was one of those weeks. You know, those weeks where you leave the house without making the bed, dinners are quick, and you wake up on a Thursday morning, rushed, because you forgot to set your alarm the night before (but boy did those extra 45 minutes of sleep feel delightful). One of those weeks where all I wanted to wear was this outfit (hence…. #WIWIW). Distressed denim, a crisp striped top, and flirty heels. And the more I examine my closet and recent purchases (with the exception of a few items) I am finding that most pieces have no business in the work world because, simply put, they’re too casual. And that’s exactly what the weekends are meant to be, right? Casual, relaxed, and a time to recharge. As my girlfriend and I so eloquently put it, “A Saturday has no room for makeup and nothing but Lululemon.” Enjoy your weekend everyone!
