Denim on Denim. It conjures up all different types of images, maybe more specifically, this one . Yeah, I didn’t think you had forgotten it either. The thought of pairing the two together doesn’t have to be scary though. It’s actually a perfect alternative neutral pallet. Really, anything goes (well maybe not anything). I love it for casual daytime activities or dressing it up for an evening out (I mean it is called the Canadian Tuxedo… not sure why though). This holiday season, with all the fun festivities, I decided that a little tartan, metallic, and pearl was the perfect combination for a holiday ensemble.

On a complete side note, can we just get an “Amen” for the weekend? I’m in full holiday merriment mode and can’t wait for a fun family dinner (hosted by Gram) on Saturday evening, celebratory times with Allison and her boo after (there may or may not be talk of some champagne), playing Christmas music non-stop, and maybe even a little present wrapping!
