What I Wore: Sunday Funday

IMG_7496

I spent the entire day today in my workout clothes. TJ and I stayed Sunday night in Santa Barbara, after an amazing few days in wine country with the family, and when I woke up this morning (it is currently Monday evening) it was time for some serious detox. Serious. For me that entails cleaner eating (fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins, and a few day sans wine), more rigorous workouts, and TONS of water. And if I’m being perfectly honest, I relish the days where stretchy black pants,  a make-up free face,  and a top knot are the perfectly acceptable #ootd. Today was just the day for it after a weekend of indulging and dressing up! I kept my outfits for this past weekend simple and comfortable. An embroidered shift dress, wide brimmed hat, and casual sandals were the perfect attire for sipping wine and strolling the small town of Los Olivos (a home away from home).

When TJ and I arrived in Santa Barbara it was 10 degrees cooler with the sun brightly shinning. We lounged by the pool and then decided it was time for some roof top cocktails. Logically, when rooftop cocktail-ing, distressed denim and a silk-y blouse are a must.
