We woke up bright and early to head up to Santa Barbara for the morning to meet with the contractor for the itsy bitsy bungalow… but the weekend was much more relaxed than our 4:50am Monday wake up call…
It involved everything I love most about the weekends… lots of family time, good food and spirits, time spent outdoors, and some celebrations with friends. There wasn’t anything particularly noteworthy or exciting, but often times those are the best weekends.
And as they all do, it went by way too fast… and now a new Monday is upon us. I hope everyone has a wonderful start to their week ahead…
Working on getting up some styled outfits from October’s capsule this week… stay tuned!

Jenni Kayne is having 20% off… some of my go-to favorite sweaters from over the years are included like this oversized alpaca crewneck, beautiful flynn v-neck cashmere sweater, oversized turtleneck sweater, and this fall perfect pleated skirt. I don’t personally own the following items, but think they’re elevated and chic nonetheless…. this fair isle sweater and this cashmere polo sweater.
Prettiest wine colored booties… would pair beautifully with brown!
This 100% organic cotton fisherman sweater was restocked… I have it in the navy shade and it’s so good. I sized up for a looser fit, and it’s just under $40.
This satin maxi dress in a beautiful pinot color, would be perfect for a fall wedding guest dress…
I’m obsessed with these burgundy striped pants… I love this style and own them in the cotton poplin and the silk.
