The first day back after a holiday weekend always throws me for a loop… I spent all of today (it’s Tuesday as I write this) thinking it was Monday, until Harper reminded me that she had something at school tomorrow… and I said to her “But that’s on Wednesday…” and she looked at me puzzled. Despite being off, I’ll never complain about being one day closer to Friday, and the second day of the week being hump day…
Today I put together 28 outfits from September’s Capsule Wardrobe. Sometimes I know how everything will come together because it’s the middle of the season and I’ve been wearing most of the pieces for a while. But when it’s a new season, and we’re transitioning, I never really know how everything will look together until I start actually wearing the items and styling them into outfits. And I usually know when it’s a versatile capsule when I could keep going with outfits, and that’s definitely what happened with this one. I don’t think I got around to including 2-3 of the items (although that doesn’t mean they don’t belong, I just ran out of time)… so I could have easily gotten 8-10 more outfits out of this collection…. which I’m pretty happy about.
I did something a little differently this month. Instead of including product details below each image, I added them all at the beginning of the post, and just linked the accessories below images.
All of that aside, I hope it helps the post from Thursday come together a bit more!
