Weekend Recap

And just like that, Labor Day Weekend has come and gone. The “unofficial” end of the summer season. We spent it soaking up time outside, in the pool, with both friends and family. We were short on sleep, but not on fun. Which lent itself to an early bedtime on Monday night for not only the kiddos, but adults included (we were in bed, lights out, by 8:45 last night…)…

In reflecting on this summer season, it was one of the best in a while… one that felt as if there was some sort of normalcy coming back… one that we were able to explore further from home and get together with those we hadn’t seen in a while. It’s hard to believe that it has come to an end… and while I wouldn’t mind slightly cooler temps, I’m not sure if I’m quite ready to say good-bye to the summer season yet… the longer + slower days, and general ease of life…. luckily I live in So. Cal where it’ll be summer well into October (although, give it a few weeks and I’ll be ready for fall…).

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, was able to relax a bit, and has a great start to the week ahead!

______

Loving this quarter zip casual sweatshirt dress… I think it would be great for fall with sneakers.

I think these cap-toe heels would be beautiful for the office or a night out…

Loving striped sweaters for this fall season…. this tan and black striped sweater, black and white striped sweater, short sleeve puffed sweater, and this marina striped sweater are on my wish-list.

If you’re think about fall family photos, a few dresses that I think would be beautiful include burgundy midi dress, floral dress, black sweetheart neckline dress, another floral dress, and this shorter floral dress.

I bought this lightweight shacket last spring and it was recently restocked… I have it in the black color and it’s great!
