Reformation Favorites For End Of Summer, Early Fall

The backpacks are packed, outfits picked out for the first day, and the normal combination of nerves and excitement are floating around. Walking with Harper to meet her teacher tonight (Camille meets hers Friday) I was reminded of how it felt each year, closing the door on a summer break, and opening another to a new school year… the nerves of having a new teacher… different classmates… and the return to a schedule versus the lazy days of summer…. and I know she felt so many of those same emotions. But after we met her teacher, recognized several kiddos from her kinder year in her class… I could see the nerves start to settle and the excitement start to build. And so begins the 2022-2023 school year…

All of those thoughts and reflections aside, I’m sharing a roundup of some of my go-to pieces from Reformation for summer and beyond. I’m including some of my favorite pieces that work across all seasons… and some that are more cool or warm weather specific. I’ve loved Reformation for so many years- they’re sustainability commitment combined with the quality and classic pieces makes them one of the first spots I go to when looking for a new item. You can see some of the items below, including a brief description as well.

With that, I hope everyone has a great day ahead!
_____

I bought this top for a summer trip to Santa Barbara, and love the back detailing. It’s great paired with shorts, but works really well with jeans for a cooler, end of summer, outfit. It was low 70’s in Santa Barbara when I wore this in the evening….

These trousers and striped sweater tank are both a newer closet addition for late summer, but I know they will both transition nicely into the fall season. I can wear the trousers with lightweight tops and tanks now, and with a sweater and long sleeve top in fall weather. The tank will layer nicely under my favorite cardigans and leather jacket… and right now looks super cute with cut offs as well.

An easy way to transition this dress to warmer temps is with western boots or sneakers! Love the billowy sleeves and how effortless it is for end of summer!

You’ve seen this ribbed tank so many times over the spring and summer months, but it’ll work in the fall as well layered under a cardigan, or leather jacket. I have it in black as well!
(Jeans)

I purchased this long sleeve ribbed top around this time last year and paired with with my favorite linen shorts and cut-offs for end of summer… and for the fall and spring it’s an ever better basic. Layer it with jeans, joggers, under cardigans, and jackets… it comes in black as well. I styled it 7 ways in this post.
(jeans + sneakers (20% off with code ITSYBITSY20, or FIRSTLOOK for 25% off only jeans), wrap scarf)

This jumpsuit was a spring wardrobe addition to my wardrobe, but I love it without a cardigan and slides for the warmer months. The jumpsuit is so comfortable, and the denim is soft and not stiff at all! I can’t wait to pull it out again when temps dip a bit below 85, haha!
(Sneakers, Cardigan (Natalie15 for 15% off) or this one)

This cashmere, oversized, loose fitting sweater is maybe one of my favorite purchases of 2021 and I can’t wait to wear this again when the temps cool. It’s so soft, a beautiful chocolate brown color, and the turtleneck is not tight or uncomfortable. I guess you could wear this with cut-offs, but it’s pretty much a fall/winter essential for me, haha!
(leggings)

End of summer, not fall at all, haha, but if you have a special occasion to go to, or are looking for something for a warm weather trip, then I can’t recommend this floral set more. The waistband is forgiving (which was very helpful for me on our Italy trip…) and it’s the most beautiful blue floral color. Wear the skirt with a white tank or the top with another high waisted skirt.

And another not so versatile, but great for end of summer, piece I love is this white two piece linen set. I got it back in May, with the intention of bringing it on our Italy trip, and it didn’t disappointed. It’s great if you’re heading somewhere warm!
