Sweatpants (or, joggers), comfy tees, cozy pullovers, cushioned sneakers + slides, bathing suits, lotions… are all things I purchased heavily over the past 365+ days. Something I haven’t purchased in over a year? A good handbag. Since I did the majority of our grocery shopping through delivery services and basically only ventured a 1.4 mile radius to my parent’s and sister/BIL house for the majority of the time, I didn’t have a need to purchase a new, everyday, tote bag (… not that I didn’t want to though….).
Lately though, we’ve been venturing out a little more… a trip to our favorite outdoor mall to see the koi pond… a quick stop at our favorite coffee shop for some outdoor croissants and tea with the girls… and I started to think about a new handbag for spring. Then I stumbled upon this beautiful bucket bag from Von Holzhausen. Von Holzhausen is all about creating beautifully designed, sustainably made, 100% animal free leather accessories… such as handbags, wallets, belts, and other small accessories. When I was deciding which bag to choose, I was between the large shopper (love the oat + caramel color) + this bucket bag. I ultimately decided on the bucket bag because I felt it was a versatile piece… I can wear it 3 ways: as a backpack, crossbody, or as a tote on my arm… and that versatility is key for me. And since the tote bag is lightweight to start with, the only weight I feel are from the items I choose to toss into it. So, in my opinion, this is the perfect everyday bag for my everyday life (especially since it also comes with a lifetime warranty….).
