While a lot of life has been relatively routine (okay, monotonous) over here lately, we did three things this past weekend to make it feel a little different…
- Tried our hands at a new cocktail recipe + finally perfected some Mai Tai libations… took us right back to the Hawaiian Islands…
- Had a sleep over at my parent’s house… our family + my sister + BIL… for Father’s Day… felt a little like vacation…
- TJ took Monday off, so we extended our weekend + had a lazy pool day on Monday…
And while they weren’t anything major, they made a big difference in the feel of the weekend. It was a little reminder that sometimes the smallest, simplest, shifts + changes to a routine can make things feel new + fresh again. Hope you all have a great week! xx
(Starting the weekend in our favorite spot…)
(Friday night comfies… joggers, sweatshirt, slippers)
(Saturday morning breakfast tacos in the making…)
(Quick Peloton ride in this tie dye set… seriously so comfortable)
(Pool bound… coverup sweater, shorts)
(Celebrating the more fun parent for the weekend!… TJ’s swim trunks)
(A round of Mai Tais to remind us of Hawaii….)
(Exactly what I mean by the more fun parent… pink, rhinestone encrusted, goggles + all….)
(Always a good weekend when we’re still in our swimsuits at 6:30pm…. my suit, girl’s suits)

My go-to mocha leggings now come in biker shorts… I purchased them since they’re multifunctional… great for lounging and working out… and they match one of my favorite workout tops. These tie dye leggings + sports bra are also incredibly comfortable for working out or lounging (I did a spin workout in them…).
My sister gave me a gift certificate to Vitamin A (for my birthday a while back) and I purchased this sweater coverup… perfect for cooler summer days + nights….
If you’re still hanging at home + looking for cute summer loungewear I found some cute pieces… like these rose colored shorts + matching tee, blue jogger shorts, and this matching blush tie-dye set.
My parent’s have this Dyson vacuum, and I’m just waiting for it to go on sale… it’s so lightweight and easy to use to clean up toddler messes….
If you’re looking for a few festive items for 4th of July I found some cute pieces…. like this linen romper, linen navy jumpsuit, white halter maxi dress, red ruffle one piece suit, or this hair tie if you want to go all white with a little festive pop.
And festive pieces for the little ones include these stripe dresses, baby dip-dye denim dress, stripe ruffle romper, and little gingham sandals.
